Detroit hip-hop history is being made.

This 313 Day, We Are Culture Creators and NonStopHiphop invites the city and the world to witness an unprecedented cultural moment: a 28-hour nonstop cypher produced in Detroit, by Detroit, for Detroit, in an official attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the longest continuous cypher.

From March 12 at 3:00 PM through March 13 at 7:00 PM, emcees, DJs, poets, and hip-hop artists will rotate through the mic in a continuous, collaborative cypher—honoring the roots of hip-hop while pushing the culture forward in real time.

This is more than a performance.
It’s a statement.
